To All Parents
At My Family Summer Camp, we believe every child thrives when they feel proud of who they are and where they come from. As we prepare for another summer, we want to highlight something especially important to our families: strengthening children’s connection to Hispanic culture.
Language is a powerful tool. When children learn, speak, and celebrate Spanish, they preserve family history, deepen cultural roots, and bridge generations. Encouraging Spanish helps them stay connected to grandparents, extended family, and the communities that shaped us. It also gives them academic, social, and professional advantages in an increasingly bilingual world.
Hispanic identity encompasses history, culture, and community, and we have many examples of individuals who symbolize the success that comes from embracing one's roots and the traditions that connect generations through rhythm and joy.
The FIFA Cup amplifies this pride by bringing fans together to celebrate skill, spirit, and cultural identity, turning every celebration into a public assertion of heritage and belonging.
This summer, we’ll continue merging Spanish language and Hispanic cultural experiences into our activities—through storytelling, games, music, crafts, and everyday conversation. Thank you for trusting us with your children and for being part of a community that celebrates diversity, resilience, and cultural heritage.
